MSDE won't be supported on Vista

You do want to run on Windows Vista - don't you?

Outlook 11 and BCM 2 kept running after I upgraded a machine to Vista Beta, but I didn't try out every feature. It's probably best to upgrade to Office 12 and BCM 3 along with Vista.
